Ibiza is one of the gorgeous Balearic Islands situated in the Mediterranean Sea about 80 km from mainland Spain. Renowned for being a party goer’s paradise, explore the island further and you will discover beautiful beaches and coves skimming Ibiza’s coastline, dotted with delightful towns and villages which suit all ages and holiday groups.

Holidays to Ibiza are best between May and October, with the busiest period being July and August when revellers, families and couples descend upon the small Balearic Island.

Beaches in Ibiza

A holiday in Ibiza is not complete without a visit to one of the many stunning beaches on the Island. Whilst the beaches in the bigger resorts can get busy in July and August there are many beaches that will appeal to those looking for a quieter spot. The tourist beaches are well equipped with water sports, sunloungers, and many cafes offering refreshments.

There are numerous Blue Flag awarded beaches on the island and for families be sure to visit the beaches in Talamanca, Sa Caleta and Figueretas.

Away from the sun drenched beaches a holiday in Ibiza has plenty more to offer. The nightlife of San Antonio is renowned with some of the biggest nightclubs in Spain such as Eden and Es Paradis. Resorts such as Santa Eulalia offer a slightly more relaxed nightlife.

Holidays in Ibiza offer a wide range of eating opportunities, from a quick bite before heading out for an evening of clubbing, to a leisurely relaxed three course meal with a traditional Spanish feel.

Whilst on holiday in Ibiza you must make a visit to the high quality boutiques that hold many treasures. In Ibiza Old Town you will find many of the shops stay open until late in the evening and there are also street markets for you to pick up cheap souvenirs to take home.
